New Businesses in Town
Panama City and Panama City Beach have been home to many new businesses since Hurricane Michael in 2018. With our town getting ready for a population boom, this is great news! Here at Last Minute PCB we want everyone to know what’s happening in their town. These places can be visited on date night, family night, or even just a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Located near downtown Panama City, Dogs and Drinks is the only local spot to enjoy some booze and let your dog run free with all their furry friends. This unique atmosphere is just what this town has been beggin’ for. With events ranging from Paint Your Pet to Friends Trivia, this place is a top pick for us!
Sweet Cone Alabama has made its mark on the beach. Near St. Andrews State Park, they are one of the only ice cream shops in the area. Based out of Orange Beach, this ice cream shop has all the top flavors, candies, and baked goods you dream of.
We have previously mentioned Panama City Coffee Co, but with coffee that good, how can they not be on this list? Bringing the authentic flavor of Panama’s coffee to Panama City, this company is dedicated serving every customer with a cup of coffee at its highest quality. Their mobile business is now permanently parked at Havana 1980 located 1308 Beck Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.
Speaking of Havana 1980, this food truck is well on its way to being the area’s first Cuban eatery. Starting at a local farmer’s market a few years ago, they quickly became the place to go for authentic Cuban food. Their menu features sandwiches including The Cuban, The Panama, bowls, appetizers and desserts.
If you work from home or are starting a business and need a quiet space The Hive PCFL might just be what you need. The Hive PCFL is a co-working space in historic downtown Panama City. Being around for a couple of years now, they offer great memberships and a space to bounce ideas off other business owners. Memberships range from day passes to a dedicated desk or office just for you.
Duplin Winery – A winery that offers a variety of fruit and grape wines, as well as wine tastings, tours, and gifts. Best known for “cool, sweet & easy” sipping wines this is the new go-to spot on a girls’ night out.
One of our favorite new additions in town is El Wierdo Taco. Located in downtown PC, this eclectic eatery will mesmerize you from the moment you lay eyes on the building. With a great, interactive atmosphere that includes local art work, vintage video games (yes, you can play!), and the one-of-a-kind “junk tornado”, you and the family will feast your bellies and eyes. Not to mention, the food is beyond yummy.. chicken nachos with pickled onions, (my personal fav)!
